  5. When using powdered brow color, use a harder bristled angle brow brush and draw tiny hair-like strokes. When using a brow pencil, maintain a sharp edge and use the same technique as the brush. The trick is comb, apply, comb.

  6. If your mascara is new and the deposit on the wand is plentiful, tissue off the wand before applying to prevent smudging. To get more product on the mascara brush try twirling the brush. Pumping it will cause the product to dry out sooner. If your mascara thickens when it reaches the end of tube, place the tube in warm water. This will help to make mascara thinner. Never add water to the tube; bacteria can form.

  8. Here are a few tips!!

First off, i know your looking into a new flat iron since yours broke =/
I know we hear alot about cheaper ones, like Reclon, Bed Head ect. Ive tried them all, and sure they work and they're cheap, BUT they DONT LAST. I really really reccomend getting a CHI, they arent super super exspensive and they work great and last forever. Ive had mine for 2 years and its like brand new. My aunts has lasted her 5!! It also doesnt fry my hair. Just ALWAYS use a heat protectant spray ( i use chi 44 iron guard).. and when im done straightning my hair i use the chi silk infusion.. it makes my hair super soft, silky and shiny. Tames frizz and fly aways. Also, since using heat on your hair isnt that good for ur hair.. i reccomend using a deep conditioner mask atleast once a week to help replenish and repair. I reccomed Pantenes hair mask. I dont remember exactly what its called but they only have one lol.

Okay also. Its better to put your concealer on AFTER your foundation, so that you can see what areas need more coverage.. this way u use less concealer and avoid putting on more makeup.

Another, If you have an eyeshadow that isnt that pigmented, ( besides putting on a eye primer.. which is a must).. try wetting your brush with water.. or fix plus. Also i noticed that it works better if you have something to put the water in, so that you can spray it on your brush.. rather then running you brush under water.. idk why but it doesnt work as well.

Okay last one for now lol.. when you put your mascara on, and some gets under your lower lashes.. or on your eyelid ( this works great especially if ur wearing eyeshadow), get a dry cutip.. ( dont wet it or use makeup remover!!) and just GENTLY dab it and or swirl where the mascara is and bam its gone.

    Hope these helped u <3

  9. Over tweezing can lead to very thin brows and bald patches, where hair only grows back irregularly. Use a protein-spiked brow gel to stimulate healthy growth and brow fillers to shade in problem areas

    ReplyDelete
  10. Keep your eyes open when you apply liquid liner, otherwise your line will look uneven. Apply by drawing three dashes, one on the corner, one in the middle, and one on the inside corner of your eye. Then go back and connect the dashes for a smooth line

    ReplyDelete
  11. For full lips go for a glossy look. Try first outlining the perimeter of your lips using a concealer brush dipped in bronzer two shades deeper than your skin tone. Then, top lips with gold, peach, or coral gloss.

    ReplyDelete
  12. A few tips...
Place a slice of raw potato underneath your eyes. The potassium in them counteracts dark circles.

Do NOT pump your mascara wand in and out of the tube. This only introduces air into the tube, which will cause your mascara to dry out sooner than it should.

To make lips appear fuller just Dab a bit of high sheen gloss in the middle of your bottom lip.

If you find that some nail polishes have left your nails stained or discolored heres a tip- half a lemon and squeeze out some of the juice, then place fingers in the lemon and move them around a bit. Let the lemon juice soak on nails for a couple minutes, then scrub nails with a baby toothbrush.

  13. Tip: To know "where to glow" bend over for 30 seconds, then slowly stand up. Where your cheeks are flushed is where you are meant to blush. Apply your blush there and it will be naturally rosy every time.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Tip 2) Even though not all people wear it, blush can instantly brighten up your look. But, like bronzer, going too much with blush can result in a problrm. Know ahead of time that you need to be careful not to apply too much.

    ReplyDelete
  15. 3) Use blush as a lipstick, then use clear gloss or lip balm over it. Longer staying power.

    ReplyDelete
  16. If your blemishes are red put a drop of visine on it and it gets rid of the redness.

When using mascara dont pump the wand into the container twist it out pumping it makes the product drier and not last as long.

Drink a lot of water it does wonders.

  17. Mascara tip: black lengthens, brown thickens. A fun look that will both thicken and lengthen your lashes is a process called minking. To mink your lashes, apply a coat of brown mascara. After that layer has dried, apply black mascara just to the tips of your lashes. Your lashes will look thick at the roots and phenomenally long at the tips. And do not forget to take it off every night before you head to bed, if not it can result in Mascara mites called demodex. And throw out your mascara every 3 months, 3 months is the longest shelf life any tube of mascara has no matter the brand. Hope this helps. My youtube username is Afrikankw33n.

  18. Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner is a product with staying power. It’s easy to use and it stays in place for hours. This liner is great for creating a more dramatic evening look. I have reviewed it for 3 months and me and my 5 sisters use it. Give it try and let me know what u think.

  19. Foundation tip:

Light coverage. If you don’t wear any foundation, try Benefit You Rebel Lite. It is a tinted moisturizer with SPF that blends seamlessly into the skin.

Medium coverage. For a lil' more coverage, check out Prescriptives Flawless Skin Tone Protection Makeup SPF 15. This product is great for those who don’t like the heavy feeling of foundation. It also has skin-repairing enzymes with yeast and antioxidants, which make skin healthier.

Fuller coverage. Def try Nars Balanced foundation, it provides you with a fuller coverage while evening out discoloration and imperfections in the skin. This product is great for those who have sensitive skin because it’s very gentle.

P.s So you dont have that shiny look, and you have a combo of oily and dry skin. Use a moisturizer under the foundation then set it with loose or pressed powder. I recommend Skin I.D.

  20. Hey girl, awesome giveaway! I'm already a blog follower, and I follow on Twitter (lipstickncandy) and YT (scarletsnet).

My beauty tip: Apply bronzer where the sunlight would naturally hit your face. It helps your look appear more natural and it helps in naturally contouring the face's natural shape.

    Thanks!

  21. Beauty tip #2:
Exfoliate lips once a week, it helps to sloth off dry/chapped skin and keep your lips soft and supple. No more than once a week though, don't want to irritate the gentle skin in the lip area. No need to spend money on expensive sugar scrubs, make your own! :)

    Lip scrub recipe:
    - 2 tbsp White Sugar (or Brown Sugar)
    - A clean washcloth damp with warm water
    - 1 tsp of Honey (or warm water)
Mix Hhoney or water, and Sugar together, scoop onto dap washcloth and massage over lips in circular motion. Rinse from lips, and apple your face lipbalm afterward.

Why make your own lip scrub? It's easy, fun, affordable, and it's all natural so you can lick it off your lips if you want without worry of icky chemicals or preservatives :)

  22. Tip #3
Apply a little bit of white eye pencil or white cream highlighter to your cupid's bow(the dip in your upper lip below your nose) after you apply your lipstick, it makes the lips appear fuller by slightly highlighting the area.

  24. Hiya! Thanks so much for this giveaway! Here is my beauty tip #2:

Oily skin holds perfume scents longer than dry skin. So, before applying perfume, rub a very thin layer of Vaseline or petroleum jelly on your skin and you will smell delicious for hours.

  30. In order for your lipstick to last even longer apply one coat, take a tissue and press it onto your lips. Then apply another coat of lipstick and press a tissue onto your lips. Repeat this several times and your lipstick will last all day long.

  39. Okay, so about your straightner problem i think you should by a maxiglide it's not that expensive you can find it for about $90 if you buy it online. I recommend this one over the other straightners only because it has small brissels inside which is perfect to comb out any tangles and what not, it makes straightening curly hair a breeze and it will leave your hair really soft and smooth and shiny. The problem with other straightners is that there plates are exposed and prone to breaking and/or chipping. Then ur hair gets caught when you staighten ur hair and boy does it hurt where as the maxiglide's plate isnt exposed. Well i hope i helped :]

    OOOOOOkay so the beauty tips:

#1: i love blush, it gives your face a healthy glow with a rosy effect. Never apply blush closer to the nose area. Choose blusher colors that match your eye shadow and lip color or that have a slight reddish pinky color to them. Fair skin looks great in rose, olive in peach & dark skin in apricot or even red.

#2:blush application varies by the shape of your face.I'll seperate them up by face type

For round Face you apply blush to the area above the apples of your cheeks and blend slightly forward to thin the round face. Avoid getting the blush too close to your nose; this highlights the roundness of your cheeks.

For Oval Face the perfect shaped face needs little help from blush. For a natural look, apply blush onto the apples of your cheeks for a flushed, healthy glow.

For square Face soften the angles of your cheeks by applying the brighter color blush on the apples of the cheeks, and then sweep the blush towards your temples. This causes the eye to look up, taking away from the sharp angles of a square face shape.

For long Face to create the illusion of width on a long face, apply blush to the apples of the cheeks and extend the blush outward towards your ears. Next, sweep your blush across the middle of your forehead and along your chin line.

#3 nude is in! haha.. apply a nude lipstick like angel from mac and then apply a clear lipgloss over. it will stay on longer and give you the perfect lip color for any ocassion. kim kardashian does this lip color alot :]

hope my tips are useful.til then have a wonderful day :]]

  40. Tip #1 - Lips
If you want your lipstick to stay on longer you can put transloosened (or how ever you spell that) over your lips.
But if you have a lipstick that you really love but it's too dark for you or too dark durring winter - than put your pressed powder or beauty powder on top of it.
But if you have a lipstick that is really nude and you know how sometimes nude lipsticks can make those lines (your inner lip or the wet part) than just put a bit of clear lipgloss or what ever color you want on top of it..

  41. Tip #2 - Eyes
If we're talking about the whole white eyeliner on your waterline to make your eyes more opened and awake..
If you're tired in the morning and want to look awake - use silver liner in the waterline and the inner corner - white will make you look like a monster and exencuate the redness in your eyes.
But if you love an eyeliner that's really creamy but smudges the whole time put an eyeshadow on top of it that's the same color - that will make your eyeliner stay on 2x or even 4x longer on your waterline.. and if you want your eyeliner to stay on longer in general.. put it on both upper and lower waterlines (or the upper one is called tight line), cause people on youtube, as i've noticed, only put it on the lower waterline..

  42. Tip #3 - Face
If you're in a hurry, but really want to put on that blush that you love.. but since you're speeding everything up you "over dosed" the blush and don't have time to take it off and re apply foundation, powder etc. you can fix it by putting light face powder on top of it or covering the edges of the blush and maybe rubb the powder in wwith a kabuki brush to really make it fade..
or you can put a hi-light on your cheekbones - that will make others focus on your pretty glowing skin rather than overdosed blush :)

all of my 3 tips were "discovered" by me they're not something that every makeup guru on youtube talk about and i use these (eyes, lips, face) tips all the time so i hope it will help you too :)

instead of going out and buying a foundation, a moisturizer AND a tinted moisturizer, just buy a moisturizer and a foundation, and on days you're feeling like you dont want to much foundation/coverage, just mix you favorite moisturizer with you foundation and WALA! a tinted moisturizer :D

  44. tip/recommendation #2
i would recommend the solia flat iron!
i own one in the red color! i love it, it curls and straightens so welll! i love the changeable heat settings! i owned a 1 inch Sedu before it, but it was unable to curl because of the flat iron was soo...flat. haha but you know how most flat iron exterior have a slight roundness? yeah well i hope you know what i'm talking about :P

i have wavy hair, but my sister has thick curly hair, and the solia straigtens her hair SO much better then her CHI.
so we both would recommend the Solia tourmaline 1 1/4 flat iron. i think you'll love it.

hope this help with your search for the perfect flat iron [:

  45. If you mess up doing eyeliner particularly on the upper lash line, take a q-tip dipped in water or makeup remover to erase the mistakes.

  46. A damp washcloth with some lotion on it makes a quick lip exfoliant. Just rub it on the lips, rinse, apply vaseline or lip balm, and sleep. In the morning, smooth lips!

  47. Rinse your face and hair with cold water! It makes the hair follicle lay flat so it can better pick up and reflect the light resulting in great, natural shine. On the skin it closes up your pores making them less noticeable and your skin better looking!
